ScrapShift
Cuppa Coffee Games || September 2024
ScrapShift is a third-person hack-and-slash game. Set within the dystopian desert setting of Rio de Janeiro, you will take control Kaila who owns two magnetic gauntlets: one for pushing and one for pulling. After defeating enemies, Kaila builds scrap on her gauntlets that can be fused into a powerful weapon called a Scrap Shift to create a stronger weapon to take down her foes in style.
My Role in the Project
For this project I was the Team Leader and Audio Director. As the Team Leader this project, it allowed me to manage the team and use key skills such as communication, collaboration and teamwork to work on the game collectively while also being able to wear a variety of different hats.
Being the Audio Director also allowed me to be extremely creative with the games SFX using Ableton to mix them to fit the games aesthetic. I worked really closely with the composers of the game to deliver something great by feeding them my knowledge and expertise of the game world and the direction to take to keep it in line with the overall vibe of the Scraplands and our inspirations.
I was also lucky to be a co-designer and was able to make creative changes in these areas as well as build up a repertoire of mechanics and systems that will be in play within the game.

weezing || Global Game Jam || 2024
please help me this is not a joke i have turned into a ball is a ball-based arcade platformer game. You play as Adam (me) who has been turned into a ball after drinking mysterious water and the only way out is to keep on rolling. Within this game, the ball slowly speeds up over time and the player's job is to stay on the level for as long as possible collecting beans as they travel.
My Role in the Project
For this project I worked as the Lead Sound Designer and Lead Composer. This allowed me to create all the sounds within the game as well as create my own score for the game too.
As well as this, I also provided voice lines and a digital scan of my face to give likeness to the ball.

DEAD.PIXEL
Adam Jackson || TBD
DEAD.PIXEL is a 2D Rhythm Stealth-Action game. In the Cyberpunk setting of New Manchester, you play as OD-C (Odyssey), a bounty hunter gone rogue, who has got their hands on unfinished and untested tech. This allows them to manipulate the sound waves to change nearby music to different genres such as EDM, Lo-Fi, Dubstep and Synthwave. You must travel to the cities biggest DJ's and try and get their help by taking them down in musical combat.
My Role in the Project
For this project I wore many hats in a variety of roles due to this being a solo project. This allowed me to have full creative control into every decision for the game.
The main importance is on the music within the game which is used as a core mechanic within the moment-to-moment gameplay. This required me to make four different versions of each music track which highlights each genre and maintains a constant flow state for the player.

This project was created for my Core Major Audio Project at Brunel University of London.
